Every person has talents. Every professional organization strives for an optimal use of it’s talents; ‘How do you make talents grow and make sure that they keep developing?’ That is the question which interests us at Induna, each and every day as we wish to make each successes long lasting. Typical for all our programmes is the result-oriented approach and strong focus on the individual eagerness to learn. Embedding the learinings is key to us. We continue to another level in the programme when transfer of knowledge and conditioning of the curriculum doesn’t suffice to put what has been learnt into daily practice. We look for the existing convictions that may prevent behavioral changes to happen and will then work on those convictions. This way we deploy every possible (learning) tool to teach the necessary skills and accelerate the existing talent.

We at Induna are convinced that ‘telling’ is never as effective as ‘experiencing’. Therefore in our programmes we aim to bring theory and practice as close together as possible, not through role-play with hypothetical situations but by simulating daily practice and applying what has been learnt in the own business environment of the participant: from a sales training which is built around practical cases to coaching in the actual work situations. If possible we add an activity or performance-element to the programme. This way, driven by competition, the lessons learnt are enthusiastically put into practice. We are convinced that a certain healthy level of competitiveness motivates people in general and improves overal results.

We continually focuse on achieving a lasting effect through our programmes. The clients are involved in the design of the programme at an early stage. The questions and challenges they put forward are our point of focus. Together we search for those elements that make the best contribution to the endgoal of the organization. For those that strive for a lasting result, a training with tips and tricks is not sufficient. Our philosophy is: ’The greatest lasting impact for behavioral change is achieved at the level of convictions’. This is a principle that assumes that development of people is more than mere transfer of knowledge. We focus on adopting new behavior. This way we make people competent and organizations successful whether it’s a matter of talented individuals, managers or whole teams.

If you think like you always have thought and you do like you always have done you get what you always have gotten.

Many organizations consider behavioral change to be equal to ‘telling people what they should do differently’. Induna deliberately chooses a different approach. We explain, put wat is learnt into practice and in this respect look for the basic attitude of the participant.. For some new knowledge and insights are sufficient to develop new behavior, for others training in practice situations.

When both do not produce the desired result we look at the personal convictions because sometimes behavior only changes when convictions do. We let participants discover their own convictions and help them to challenge these convictions on truth, correctness and reality. Then we hand them alternatives which are all focused on gaining insight into their own behavior and desired change. Because forcing a conviction onto someone does not work. That is our conviction. “The only person that can truly change you, is you!”

All courses of Induna are developed with the desired behavioral change or optimization of behavior in mind, from developing autocontrol within teams to commercializing of whole departments.
